Abstract
La presente divulgación proporciona métodos para estimar un grado de relación ancestral entre individuos. En un aspecto, un método comprende recibir datos de haplotipo que comprenden marcadores genéticos compartidos entre una población de individuos; dividir los datos de haplotipo en segmentos con base en los marcadores genéticos; para cada una de la población de individuos de prueba: (i) con base en los marcadores genéticos, hacer coincidir segmentos de los datos de haplotipo que son idénticos por descendencia entre dos individuos, (ii) para cada uno de los segmentos coincidentes: dividir el segmento coincidente en intervalos genómicos discretos, puntuar cada uno de los intervalos genómicos discretos con base en un grado de coincidencia dentro o entre los individuos, corregir las puntuaciones para consistencia, y (iii) calcular una suma ponderada sobre los intervalos genómicos discretos del segmento coincidente, con base en las puntuaciones corregidas y factores de ponderación asignados; y (d) estimar el grado de relación ancestral entre los individuos con base en las sumas ponderadas de los segmentos coincidentes.
