Abstract
Se describen un método y un aparato para la codificación de video. Un modo de codificación de destino se determina para el bloque actual. A continuación, el bloque actual se codifica o decodifica según el modo de codificación de destino, en donde se deshabilita una hipótesis adicional de predicción para dichos uno o más bloques de croma si el modo de codificación de destino corresponde al modo de predicción de hipótesis múltiples y el ancho, alto o área de dichos uno o más bloques de croma es más pequeño que un umbral.
