Abstract
Se divulga un mecanismo de codificación de video. El mecanismo incluye recibir una corriente de bits que comprende una imagen actual incluyendo una pluralidad de unidades de capa de abstracción de red (NAL) de capa de codificación de video (VCL) que no tienen un mismo tipo de unidad NAL; entradas activas de listas de imágenes de referencia son obtenidas para porciones posicionadas en una sub-imagen A (subimagenA) en imágenes subsiguientes siguiendo la imagen actual en orden de decodificación; las entradas activas no se refieren a alguna imagen de referencia que precede a la imagen actual en el orden de decodificación cuando la subimagenA en la imagen actual está asociada con un tipo de unidad NAL de punto de acceso intra-aleatorio (IRAP); las imágenes subsiguientes son decodificadas con base en las entradas activas de la lista de imágenes de referencia; las imágenes subsiguientes son reenviadas para despliegue como parte de una secuencia de video decodificada.
