Abstract
Se proporcionan mecanismos para decodificar un conjunto de imágenes de un flujo de bits. El método comprende obtener una indicación de acceso de capa, LA, que identifique una imagen de LA en una unidad de acceso, en donde i) la imagen de LA tiene un valor de identificador de capa que identifica una capa y ii) la imagen de LA va seguida de otras imágenes en un orden de decodificación. El método comprende determinar, con base en la indicación de LA, una posición de LA en el flujo de bits. El método comprende decodificar la imagen de LA y las demás imágenes que sigan a la imagen de LA en el orden de decodificación, en donde ningún conjunto de parámetros que: a) tenga un tipo particular, b) tenga un valor de identificador de capa igual al valor de identificador de capa de la imagen de LA y c) preceda a la posición de LA se usa para decodificar la imagen de LA.
