Abstract

Un sistema y método para medir de forma interactiva los errores refractivos oculares, la adición y la potencia de las gafas de lectura sin la necesidad de un componente óptico que cambie la vergencia óptica de un estímulo. El sistema puede medir la distancia desde los ojos de un usuario a uno o ambos extremos del intervalo de visión clara, para una orientación o dos orientaciones perpendiculares. Las medidas junto con la edad del usuario se pueden utilizar para estimar la refracción esfero-cilíndrica, la adición y la potencia de las gafas de lectura. El sistema puede utilizar diferentes tamaños, direcciones y colores de estímulos que pueden cambiar con dicha distancia o con la interacción con el usuario.
