Abstract

La invención se refiere a un método para producir pelotillas que son capaces de proporcionar polvo fluido adecuado para encender un horno industrial a partir de desechos municipales y/u otros, el proceso comprende las etapas siguientes: (i) proporcionar material de desecho que comprende uno o más materiales termoplásticos de más del 40 %, en función del peso seco total del desecho y uno o más materiales celulósicos de más del 30 %, en función del peso seco total del desecho, en donde el desecho tiene una distribución de tamaño de partículas con más del 80 % mayor a 5 mm, más del 95 % menor a 60 mm, (ii) someter el material de desecho a través de una peletizadora con orificios de entre 4-16 mm y una relación de longitud de más de 2, y someter las pelotillas a través de una segunda peletizadora con orificios de entre 4 y 10 mm, y una relación de longitud de más de 2 para proporcionar pelotillas con un diámetro de entre 4 y 10 mm, y una longitud de entre 3 y 50 mm. La invención también se refiere a pelotillas obtenidas y que tienen propiedades ventajosas.
