Abstract

Un sistema detector inductivo (8) se adapta para aplicar señales de excitación electromagnética en un cuerpo, el sistema comprende un circuito resonador (10) que incorpora una antena de bucle (12). El sistema detecta las señales devueltas desde el cuerpo con la misma antena, basado en la variación en las características eléctricas del circuito resonador. El sistema se configura para separar las señales recibidas de diferentes fuentes fisiológicas dentro del cuerpo. Esto se realiza basado en la detección en el circuito resonador de características eléctricas indicativas tanto de una parte real como de una imaginaria de un componente de inductancia adicional añadido a la antena por las señales electromagnéticas recibidas. La separación las señales de diferentes fuentes fisiológicas se basa en magnitudes relativas de dichos componentes de inductancia reales e imaginarios detectados añadidos al circuito resonador por las señales devueltas.
