Un sistema de entrega de contenido audiovisual en vivo incluye: un cliente (110) que tiene acceso a una red de proveedor (102) a través de una puerta de enlace (140); un equipo de entrega de contenido audiovisual en vivo (120) que comprende un multicaster para transmitir contenido audiovisual en vivo en forma de multidifusión a través de la red de proveedor (102); un de-multicaster (150) que puede realizar una conversión en forma de unidifusión de contenidos audiovisuales en vivo recibidos en forma multidifusión desde el multicaster; y un controlador (130) que gestiona el enrutamiento de solicitudes para obtener contenidos audiovisuales en vivo.
