Abstract
Un sistema de entrega de contenido audiovisual en vivo incluye: un cliente (110) que tiene acceso a una red de proveedor (102) a través de una puerta de enlace (140); un equipo de entrega de contenido audiovisual en vivo (120) que comprende un multicaster para transmitir contenido audiovisual en vivo en forma de multidifusión a través de la red de proveedor (102); un de-multicaster (150) que puede realizar una conversión en forma de unidifusión de contenidos audiovisuales en vivo recibidos en forma multidifusión desde el multicaster; y un controlador (130) que gestiona el enrutamiento de solicitudes para obtener contenidos audiovisuales en vivo. El cliente (110) realiza un procedimiento de descubrimiento con el objetivo de recibir información sobre la posible presencia y disponibilidad del de-multicaster (150). Cuando el cliente (110) tiene la intención de recibir un contenido audiovisual en vivo específico, el cliente (110) envía al controlador (130) una solicitud que proporciona una indicación de presencia y disponibilidad, o no, del de-multicaster (150).
