Se presentan conceptos los cuales logran una codificación más eficiente de coeficientes de un bloque de transformación mediante el uso de cuantización dependiente y codificación de entropía adaptable al contexto o logra una codificación de coeficientes de un bloque de transformación en una forma la cual permite una codificación más eficiente aún si se combina el uso de una cuantización dependiente con el uso de la codificación de entropía adaptable al contexto.
