Abstract
El objetivo de la presente invención es utilizar la energía térmica de alta temperatura almacenada en el lecho de fluido en conjunto con la tecnología termofotovoltaica (TPV). La tecnología TPV requiere emisores térmicos a alta temperatura (>600°C) para producir electricidad a partir de la radiación térmica. Los emisores térmicos TPV se ubican sumergidos o expuestos al lecho fluidizado de partículas calientes, protegidos por capas adecuadas de material resistente de alta temperatura, como paredes de cerámica o refractario. Este lecho fluidizado de alta temperatura, proporcionará la energía térmica a las celdas TPV para producir la electricidad.
