Abstract
Un sistema de comunicación por radio para transmitir datos a una estación terrestre incluye una pluralidad de satélites en órbita distribuidos estocásticamente con una pluralidad de antenas que atraviesan una porción de la superficie de la Tierra dividida en zonas. La estación terrestre tiene una dirección única que se identifica a sí misma y a la zona donde se ubica. Una red de área local asociada con el nodo terrestre incluye al menos un satélite que almacena la identidad de una antena satelital emparejada con una antena de estación terrestre para formar un enlace de radio para transmitir datos a bordo del satélite a la estación terrestre. Otros satélites en la red de área local almacenan la dirección del nodo terrestre y la identidad de una antena emparejada con una antena en otro satélite que también ha almacenado la dirección del nodo terrestre.
