Abstract

La presente divulgación se refiere a sistemas y métodos para medir el contenido de aceite/agua en mezclas de aceite-agua, sin importar la salinidad de la mezcla y sin importar el aire en el tubo del sensor. En algunas modalidades, el contenido de aceite se mide usando un sensor dieléctrico. Se determina si el contenido de aceite está por encima o por debajo de un umbral. Si el contenido de aceite está por encima del umbral, el contenido de aceite se reporta usando la medición del sensor dieléctrico. Si el contenido de aceite está por debajo del umbral, el contenido de aceite se reporta usando la medición del sensor de corrientes de Foucault. En algunas modalidades, las cuales mejoran el desempeño cuando hay aire en el tubo del sensor, dos sensores dieléctricos con diferentes geometrías se usan en lugar de dicho un sensor dieléctrico.
