Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un protector de extremo de tubo para proteger las roscas de los tubos provistas en el extremo de un tubo de un componente de tubería para la exploración y producción de un pozo de hidrocarburos, donde dicho protector de extremo de tubo comprende un cuerpo principal y un sello de reborde flexible anular, en donde el cuerpo principal está hecho de un primer material polimérico que tiene un primer módulo elástico, y el sello del reborde está hecho de un segundo material polimérico que tiene un segundo módulo elástico que es más bajo que el primer módulo elástico.
