Abstract

The box comprises a base (10) hinged to a lid (20) and has outer walls (12, 22) with front and rear edges (12a, 22a), which form a sealing labyrinth. Lateral openings (13) in the base (10) house sealing bushings (14) for optical cables (CO). A tray (30), bearing optical fibre accommodating and adjusting elements on a rear side (31) and connection elements on a front side (32), is hinged to the base (10). Lateral troughs (33) and sealing elements (50), on the front side (32) of the tray (30), accommodate terminal cables (CT). The lid (20) has a rear edge (22a) laid against a sealing element (50) and another rear edge (22a) that engages with a front edge (33a) of a lateral trough (33) into which an anchoring element (60) is fitted, accommodating terminal cables (CT).
