Abstract
Se describen sistemas y métodos para la selección de un vector de movimiento (MV) para uso en la codificación de la conversión de velocidad ascendente de fotogramas (FRUC) de un bloque de video. En una modalidad, un primer conjunto de candidatos a vector de movimiento se identifica para predicción FRUC del bloque. Un centro de búsqueda se define basado en el primer conjunto de candidatos a vector de movimiento, y se determina una ventana de búsqueda, la ventana de búsqueda tiene un ancho seleccionado y está centrada en el centro de búsqueda. Una búsqueda para un MV seleccionado se realiza dentro de la ventana de búsqueda. En algunas modalidades, un conjunto inicial de los MV se procesa con un algoritmo de agrupamiento para generar un número menor de los MV que se usan como el primer conjunto. El MV seleccionado puede estar sujeto a una búsqueda de refinamiento de movimiento, que también puede realizarse en un intervalo de búsqueda restringido. En modalidades adicionales, las iteraciones de búsqueda se restringen para limitar la complejidad.
