Abstract

La invención se refiere a un método para el manejo de un sistema monitor de video (100) para un vehículo automóvil (101), en donde el sistema monitor de video (100) comprende una cámara (102) que se asocia a un costado longitudinal (106, 107) del vehículo automóvil, la cual se diseña para capturar una imagen del entorno (105) del vehículo automóvil (101). Este método comprende las etapas de: precisar una zona de interés (111) en el entorno (105), transformar la imagen de la cámara (102) en una imagen transformada (300), de manera que la zona de interés (111) en la imagen transformada (300) se dispone en una zona de imagen predeterminada (301) con un nivel de ampliación predeterminado, independiente de un cambio en la posición de la zona de interés (111) en el entorno (105).
