Abstract

Un conector que comprende un cuerpo (1) que tiene una vía de paso que define un eje y que está abierto en un extremo (4) y una paleta (8) en la vía de paso mira hacia el extremo abierto y soporta una junta tórica (9). La tapa tiene una pluralidad de patas (24) que se extienden desde el extremo abierto, cada una de las cuales tiene un diente (22) que se extiende hacia fuera en el extremo opuesto al extremo abierto para acoplarse con un rebajo complementario (12) en el cuerpo para proporcionar el ajuste a presión. Un collar (3) en la tapa tiene una pluralidad de patas (31) que se extienden desde el extremo abierto, al menos una pata del collar se acopla a una pata de la tapa y tiene un diente (32) que mira hacia adentro para sujetar un tubo en la vía de paso. La tapa (2) tiene una superficie ahusada (29) que mira hacia adentro que está ahusada para proporcionar un ángulo de tapa que se acopla, con las patas del collar (31) de modo que el movimiento axial del collar (3) hacia el extremo abierto (4) provoca la deflexión hacia dentro de las patas del collar y provoca una fuerza radialmente hacia fuera para ser aplicado a las patas (24) de la tapa (2) a través de la superficie ahusada (29) para empujar cada diente de la tapa hacia su respectivo hueco complementario (12).
