Abstract
Se proporciona un aparato de monitoreo del estado de la piel que incluye uno o más sensores para detectar la densidad de energía aplicada a un sitio operativo en tiempo real en función de una o más variables monitoreadas. En base a la densidad de energía aplicada detectada, el nivel de potencia aplicada del haz de plasma frío puede ajustarse, de modo que la densidad de energía aplicada al sitio operativo permanezca dentro del rango beneficioso que logre el efecto fisiológico deseado al sitio operativo. El aparato de monitorización del estado de la piel de la presente descripción puede estar acoplado a un extremo distal de un dispositivo electroquirúrgico capaz de generar plasma frío.
