Abstract
Un sistema de supervisión de conductores de cable de red LAN incluye un dispositivo IoT (Internet de las Cosas) con varios puertos de entrada IoT que están conectados cada uno a un puerto de salida del conmutador de red. El dispositivo IoT mide la corriente que circula a través de cada puerto de salida del conmutador de red conectado y transmite las señales a sus respectivos conductores de cable. Diversos sensores de temperatura situados en varios puntos transmiten las lecturas de la temperatura de nuevo al dispositivo IoT.Si las lecturas de temperatura o las lecturas de corriente para un puerto de salida de conmutador de red dado superan los límites predefinidos, el dispositivo IoT impone restricciones de corriente PoE (alimentación a través de Ethernet) en el conmutador de red.
