Abstract
Se proporciona un ancla de succión que comprende una cámara de succión limitada por: (i) una pared exterior circunferencial, (ii) una pared superior que tiene una abertura central, y (iii) la pared de un alojamiento interno; el alojamiento interno define un pasaje en comunicación con la abertura central para recibir componentes de cabeza de pozo que pudieran estar asegurados al ancla de succión; la cámara de succión tiene una porción superior menor y una porción inferior mayor; la porción superior menor comprende miembros de refuerzo internos que se extienden a lo largo del interior de la pared superior desde las paredes exteriores hasta el alojamiento interno; la porción mayor está adaptada para incrustarse en un lecho marino y la porción menor está adaptada para proyectarse desde el lecho marino cuando se instale el ancla; en donde los miembros de refuerzo sirven tanto para reforzar la pared superior de la cámara contra el colapso como para soportar rígidamente el alojamiento interno de modo que pueda resistir las fuerzas aplicadas al mismo que surjan de los momentos de flexión aplicados a los componentes de una cabeza de pozo recibidos y asegurados en el mismo. También se proporciona un método para instalar el ancla de succión.
