Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para determinar una concentración de un inhibidor de incrustaciones en un agua salada que comprende un análisis con un electrodo selectivo de iones de calcio/magnesio de una primera muestra dializada del agua salada, y una segunda muestra dializada del agua salada que era suplementado con una concentración conocida de inhibidor de incrustaciones. La invención se refiere además a un método para inhibir la incrustación en una planta que contiene un agua salada que comprende los pasos de de añadir un inhibidor de las incrustaciones para el agua salada a una concentración deseada, la determinación de la concentración real del inhibidor de incrustaciones en el agua salada como anteriormente, y la adición de más inhibidor de incrustaciones al agua con sal para ajustar la concentración deseada.
