Investigating Or Analyzing Materials By The Use Of Electric Means
(AREA)
Abstract
The present invention discloses methods and apparatus for determining surface wetting of metallic materials under downhole conditions with fixed or changing well fluids. Said methods include performing impedance spectroscopy (EIS) for a system that simulates downhole conditions for wetting a surface by moving the electrodes exposed to the wellbore fluid simultaneously and dynamic, while changes in electrical characteristics between the electrodes are measured.
