Abstract
Un método recibe una imagen de un video. La imagen se divide en un primer conjunto de primeros bloques de un primer tamaño y entonces los primeros bloques se dividen en un segundo conjunto de segundos bloques de un segundo tamaño. El método prueba un primer conjunto de patrones de subsampleo para el segundo conjunto de segundos bloques en un primer bloque en el conjunto de primeros bloques para determinar si una calidad de reconstrucción de segundos bloques subsampleados alcanza un umbral asociado con el respectivo primer conjunto de patrones de subsampleo. Los segundos bloques que satisfacen el umbral son subsampleados usando el primer conjunto de patrones de subsampleo. Además, el método prueba un segundo conjunto de patrones de subsampleo para seleccionar uno del segundo conjunto de patrones de subsampleo a usar para subsamplear segundos bloques que no satisficieron el umbral.
