Abstract

En un ejemplo se describe un método para comunicación sobre una red satelital; el método incluye determinar un primer marcador de disponibilidad para una primera unidad de datos por satélite (SDU) de una aeronave con base en primeros parámetros operativos que comprenden si la primera SDU está (i) reportando datos válidos, (ii) tiene la capacidad para proporcionar servicios de enlace de datos, y (iii) tiene la capacidad para proporcionar servicios voz, determinar un segundo marcador de disponibilidad para la segunda SDU de la aeronave con base en segundos parámetros operativos que comprenden si la segunda SDU está (i) reportando datos válidos, (ii) tiene la capacidad para proporcionar servicios de enlace de datos, y (iii) tiene la capacidad para proporcionar servicios de voz, comparar el primer marcador de disponibilidad para la primera SDU con el segundo marcador de disponibilidad para la segunda SDU, y con base en la comparación del primer marcador de disponibilidad con el segundo marcador de disponibilidad, controlar una de la primera SDU y la segunda SDU para que sea una SDU activa.
