Abstract

This terminal device (10) includes a recognition unit (206) which performs processing for recognizing, from an image of a health device included in a captured image, a character string showing a measurement value displayed on a display of the health device, and a determination unit (208) which, for each of multiple recognition characters included in the recognition character string, determines whether or not the certainty, which represents the recognition accuracy of the recognition characters, is less than a first threshold value. If the certainty is less than the first threshold value, the recognition unit (206) further performs processing for recognizing the character string showing the displayed measurement value from N captured images (N being an integer greater than or equal to 1) further generated by the imaging unit (202). The terminal device (10) further includes a determination unit (210) which, on the basis of the N+1 recognition results of the character string showing the displayed measurement value, determines that the recognition character string configured from the specified recognition characters is the measurement value of the health device; and an output control device (204) which outputs the determination result.
