Abstract
Una herramienta de estimulación acústica de prospección comprende: una cámara sellada que contiene un líquido; un par de electrodos localizados en la cámara; al menos un transductor dispuesto para generar un campo acústico entre los electrodos induciendo de este modo la cavitación en un volumen del líquido entre los electrodos; y al menos un condensador configurado para aplicar una tensión de pulsos a través de los electrodos cuando se descarga, haciendo de este modo que el volumen de cavitación del líquido forme un plasma que se colapsa para formar una onda de choque. El al menos un transductor constituye una primera fuente de energía, y el al menos un banco de condensadores y los electrodos constituyen una segunda fuente de energía. También se desvelan formas y disposiciones alternativas de las fuentes de energía primera y segunda.
