Abstract

En la presente se describen modalidades de sistemas, métodos y productos de programas informáticos para determinar la caracterización de fracturas y esfuerzos usando la variación del espesor de capas en un medio anisotrópico en cuanto al azimut, que puede incluir una o más de las siguientes funciones: adquirir datos sísmicos mediante el registro de ondas sísmicas reflejadas en al menos dos direcciones; clasificar los datos sísmicos de modo que el desplazamiento sea cero en un centro y aumente en forma radial desde una recopilación individual de puntos comunes (CMP) para múltiples puntos de datos; generar un volumen multidimensional mediante la yuxtaposición de un conjunto de secciones con desplazamiento común mediante una de sus ubicaciones de punto de profundidad común (CDP) y CMP; seleccionar reflectores para cada capa del volumen multidimensional; calcular los parámetros de capas inclusive la anisotropía eficaz y la anisotropía en intervalos para cada capa en el volumen multidimensional según la geometría de los reflectores seleccionados para cada capa en el volumen multidimensional; y aplicar los parámetros de capas a un modelo terrestre.
