Abstract

Un sistema de iluminación configurable que incluye una unidad de iluminación que tiene un módulo de iluminación y un módulo de control programable; un interruptor de luz configurado para la comunicación eléctrica con la unidad de iluminación mediante un circuito eléctrico y que es funcional en una primera y segunda posiciones de funcionamiento de manera tal que el módulo de iluminación, en respuesta a la operación del interruptor de luz en la primera y la segunda posiciones de funcionamiento, es capaz de producir un primer conjunto de modos de iluminación; y, una unidad de programación configurada para la comunicación inalámbrica con el módulo de control programable de la unidad de iluminación mediante un enlace de comunicación inalámbrica en el que la unidad de programación incluye una interfaz de programación mediante la cual el módulo de control programable de la unidad de iluminación es capaz de programarse de manera tal que, en respuesta a diferentes patrones de movimiento del interruptor de luz entre la primera y la segunda posiciones de funcionamiento, el módulo de iluminación es controlado por el módulo de control programable para producir un segundo conjunto de modos de iluminación que tienen un mayor número de modos de iluminación que el del primer conjunto de modos de iluminación.
