Abstract

The present invention relates to a process for obtaining biogas from the residual microalgae biomass of the Swedish Tetraselmis species, through anaerobic digestion. It requires the previous steps of cultivating Tetraselmissuecic microalgae, recovering microalgal biomass, extracting the lipid fraction, and obtaining residual biomass. Also, it relates to an optimized bio refinery process that allows obtaining products of interest, from photosynthetic oleaginous microorganisms. Said process comprises a sequence of stages with their respective optimal operating conditions to maximize the quality and quantity of products to be obtained, thus achieving the integral use thereof, and reporting in a technically realizable and scalable way, and seeking sustainability, economic, and energy road characteristics.
