Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con un sistema de seguimiento de la corrosión dentro de un recinto que puede incluir un circuito eléctrico a través del cual fluye una primera corriente, en donde la primera corriente crea un campo magnético. El sistema también puede incluir un componente objetivo dispuesto cerca del circuito eléctrico, en donde el campo magnético induce un número de segundas corrientes para fluir dentro del componente objetivo. El sistema además puede incluir un sensor que mide la pluralidad de segundas corrientes que fluyen dentro del componente objetivo para generar una pluralidad de mediciones. Las mediciones pueden indicar si el componente objetivo está experimentando corrosión.
