The present invention relates to a method for plotting straight paths in CNC equipment, which allows determining efficiently the number of steps and the interval of time between them. The present method makes use of information in a binary system and a factor calculated by two possible routes, depending on the processing capacity of the central control module of the equipment. In its implementation version uses fewer resources avoiding the arithmetic operations of raising the square, square root, or division. Also, it comprises the computer numerical control equipment that implements the method for drawing straight paths improving the processing capacity of its central control module.
