Abstract
The present disclosure is related to the search to overcome the problems related to the costs of raw materials and reagents used in the industrial, domestic, micro-enterprise sectors, that have the need to measure water hardness. The present invention has a lower cost in comparison with those commercially available in the market. In addition, this product retains the same reliability and quality for the determination of total hardness in liquid samples. The kit is made up of an EDTA-based titrant solution and a reagent called Hardness I, being a profitable product from the cost-benefit point of view, in addition to being a faster and simpler method.
