The present disclosure is related to a multiphase electrochemical reactor with concurrent flow that is characterized by allowing a 100% of gas use in an electrochemical reaction between several phases. The design comprises the simultaneous gas and liquid injection concurrently through the upper part through an orifice that increases the kinetic energy of the phases to disperse the gas phase in the liquid phase in the form of bubbles throughout the reactor. This invention is used to perform electro-oxidation or electro-reduction processes and a light source can be added to perform electro-photochemical processes, either in continuous, semi-continuous or intermittent mode (batch).
