Abstract

The system for measuring and monitoring blood flow and oxygenation in healthy tissue and a tissue graft provides relevant information to healthcare professionals in order to avoid cell death of the tissue due to a lack of blood flow, thus increasing the probability of success of the surgery and reducing the patient's recovery time. The system consists of at least: a) an apparatus (1) with a section (7) for sensing signals relating to the state of the tissue obtained via at least one infrared laser diode, a red laser diode and a photodetector, an instrumentation section for conditioning the signals and a section for processing the signals and for communicating the processed information; b) a monitor or graphic interface (2) for viewing said information; and c) a web platform (3) or mobile application that receives, stores and analyses the mentioned information, which synchronises at least two apparatuses to create a personalised model of each tissue.
