Abstract
Un método predice la cubierta de precipitación de asfalteno de un fluido que consiste del petróleo del tanque de almacenamiento y gas disuelto. El método comprende comparar un parámetro de solubilidad del fluido, dfluido, y un parámetro de solubilidad de inicio del fluido, dinicio(fluido), a través de un rango de presiones, para predecir las presiones a las cuales se observará la precipitación de asfalteno dfluido y dinicio(fluido) se calculan utilizando un factor de corrección, Fcorrección. Fcorrección se determina de acuerdo con la fórmula (1): Fcorreción = dSTO(físico) / dSTO(poder solvente) (1) donde: dSTO(físico) es un estimado del parámetro de solubilidad del petróleo del tanque de almacenamiento con base en una propiedad física del petróleo del tanque de almacenamiento, y dSTO(poder solvente) es un estimado del parámetro de solubilidad del petróleo del tanque de almacenamiento con base en el poder solvente del petróleo del tanque de almacenamiento.
