Abstract

A high-strength hot-dip galvanized steel sheet which has a tensile strength of 980 MPa or greater and a yield ratio of 0.65 or greater, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The component composition contains, in mass%, C: 0.11-0.20%, Si: less than 0.50%, Mn: 2.2-3.5%, P: 0.03% or less, S: 0.005% or less, Al: 0.08% or less, N: 0.006% or less, and B: 0.0002-0.0030%, the remainder comprising Fe and unavoidable impurities. By area ratio, the ferrite phase in the composition is less than 20% (including 0%), the bainite phase is less than or equal to 50% (including 0%), the martensite phase is greater than or equal to 50% (including 100%), the auto-tempered martensite contained in said martensite phase is greater than or equal to 70% (including 100%), and the residual austenite is 2% or less (including 0%).
