Abstract
Un inversor que produce una corriente alterna desde una fuente de corriente directa tiene una etapa primaria acoplada a la fuente de corriente directa que tiene un transformador elevador, un primer circuito de conmutación acoplando la corriente directa a un devanado primario del transformador y un rectificador acoplado a un devanado secundario del transformador para producir un voltaje CD; un controlador para que el primer circuito de conmutación proporcione señales de pulso por impulso para controlar interruptores del primer circuito de conmutación a fin de ocasionar que la corriente fluya en el devanado primario del transformador e inducir una corriente alterna en el devanado secundario del transformador; una etapa secundaria que recibe el voltaje CD que tiene un segundo circuito de conmutación y un controlador para que el segundo circuito de conmutación genere señales de control para ocasionar que la corriente a través del segundo circuito de conmutación fluya en direcciones alternas a través de la carga; en una modalidad, el periodo de corriente alterna se divide en porciones de tiempo y los interruptores del primer circuito de conmutación son modulados por ciclo de trabajo a diferentes ciclos de trabajo en cada porción de tiempo; una segunda modalidad conmuta los devanados primarios conectados en serie de un transformador multi-derivación.
