Abstract

Se generan identificadores únicos públicos y privados para un artículo, y se imprime una etiqueta identificadora y se adhiere al artículo. El identificador público es visible, pero el identificador privado no es visible a menos que se lleve a cabo una acción de manipulación evidente. Se registran los eventos que involucran lecturas del identificador público. Un cliente realiza una lectura de un identificador privado y, en respuesta, se envía al cliente información de autenticidad para el artículo. La información de autenticidad se determina con base, al menos en parte, en los eventos relativos al identificador público.
