Abstract
La invención hace referencia a un método para producir un elemento de acabado para vehículos con aspecto de carbono auténtico, que comprende una capa de fibra de carbono que se coloca en un lado expuesto del elemento de acabado y se puede ver desde la parte externa y que se fabrica con una estructura de fibra compuesta por fibras de carbono prefabricadas con intersticios, donde el método comprende al menos la etapas del proceso de impregnación húmeda de la capa de fibra de carbono prefabricada con una dispersión de polímero acuoso a base de poliuretano, acrilato o acetato de polivinilo o una mezcla de éstos, para que la dispersión de polímero penetre al menos en parte en la capa de fibra de carbono, lo que aumenta la aptitud de esta para la penetración de un recubrimiento en los intersticios de la estructura de fibra de la capa de carbono.
