Abstract
Se describen métodos y sistemas para medir y monitorear con precisión el volumen acumulado de fluido hidráulico en un sistema preventor de reventones (BOP) (200), específicamente para una función de interés; un método que incluye inicializar un algoritmo de máquina de estados (600), el algoritmo de máquina de estados responde a una función de BOP de interés que es activada; medir una base de referencia de caudal hidráulico inicial y una base de referencia de presión inicial para crear una variable de impedancia hidráulica para usarla en el algoritmo de máquina de estados; monitorear un caudal hidráulico agregado y la presión del sistema BOP a través del tiempo; aplicar la variable de impedancia hidráulica para negar los flujos hidráulicos del sistema BOP que no estén relacionados con la función de BOP de interés; y aplicar el algoritmo de máquina de estados (600) para determinar cuándo se ha completado la función de BOP de interés en respuesta a un volumen acumulado total de fluido hidráulico.
