Abstract

The present invention relates to a process for efficiently removing sulphur trioxide (SO3) from the gases generated during combustion. The uses of said process include, but are not limited to, the reduction of pollutants generated in recovery boilers or in the use of internal combustion engines such as those used in electrical plants.
