Abstract
Se proporcionan sistemas, métodos y medios de almacenamiento legibles por computadora para proporcionar una suavización del trazo de tinta en tiempo real de forma eficiente, la predicción de la trayectoria, y la renderización de la entrada del trazo de tinta mediante el aprovechamiento de una GPU. Se reciben los primero y segundo puntos de tinta y se calcula una aproximación de Bézier activa con base en los mismos. Secuencialmente en el tiempo después de los primero y segundo puntos de tinta, se recibe un tercer punto de tinta. Se determina si el tercer punto de tinta y se ajusta adecuadamente con la aproximación de Bézier activa. Cuando se determina que el tercer punto de tinta se ajusta adecuadamente, se calcula una aproximación de Bézier activa actualizada que incluye los primero, segundo y tercer puntos de tinta. Cuando se determina que el tercer punto de tinta no se ajusta adecuadamente, se calcula una nueva aproximación de Bézier diferente que incluye el tercer punto de tinta, pero no los primero y segundo puntos de tinta. Aprovechando una GPU, se renderiza un trazo de tinta suavizado basándose en la aproximación de Bézier.
