Abstract
The present disclosure is related to the production process of silane, monochlorosilane and dichlorosilane by means of a multitasking reactive distillation column, these three products that are obtained by the dome of the column, are of great commercial and industrial interest in the energy sector. The present invention consists of obtaining the three products of interest in a single reactive distillation column that is called multitasking; the reaction is carried out the following way: 2SiHCl3 cat SiH2Cl2 + SiCl4 (1) 2SiH2Cl2 cat SiH3Cl + SiHCl3 (2) 2SiH3Cl cat SiH4 + SiH2Cl2 (3). It has been shown that it is feasible to obtain a multitasking design, in which the three products of interest are obtained in the dome of the column, this under a process in which variations are made in the operating conditions for promoting the reaction to the desired components; the process has an endless number of problems which were solved in order to find the proper design, below are detailed some of these drawbacks: when there are processes that involve catalytic reactions, the conditions of the system are limited to a very small operating interval, that is why the elaboration of this process does not turn out to be trivial. Therefore, reactive multitasking distillation columns are not reported in the literature. The benefits are obvious, since, with the operation of a single equipment, three products of great interest in the energy sector can be obtained such as silane, dichlorosilane and monochlorosilane. The process must be applicable in the conventional polycrystalline silicon production scheme which represents an advantage in the regular use of solar energy technologies both industrially and domestically.
