Abstract
Un método que incluye: recibir las mediciones de un parámetro relacionado con la sangre correspondiente a un paciente que se está sometiendo a hemodiálisis; estimar un valor de uno o más parámetros relacionados con el tratamiento de hemodiálisis mediante la aplicación de un modelo de relleno vascular basándose en las mediciones recibidas del parámetro relacionado con la sangre, en donde los uno o más parámetros relacionados con el tratamiento de hemodiálisis son indicativos de un efecto del relleno vascular sobre el paciente causado por la hemodiálisis; determinar, basándose en los uno o más valores estimados de los uno o más parámetros relacionados con el tratamiento de hemodiálisis, una operación relacionada con el tratamiento de hemodiálisis; y facilitar el desempeño de la operación relacionada con el tratamiento. El modelo de relleno vascular es un modelo de dos compartimientos basado en un primer compartimiento correspondiente al plasma sanguíneo en el cuerpo del paciente, un segundo compartimiento correspondiente al fluido intersticial en el cuerpo del paciente, y una membrana semi-permeable que separa el primer compartimiento y el segundo compartimiento.
