Abstract
In the present invention, the following are provided: a cylinder (1) in the interior of which an action chamber (L) is formed; an annular rod guide (2) that is fixed in an opening on one end of the cylinder (1); a rod (4) that is inserted so as to be movable in the axial direction on the inner circumferential side of the rod guide (2); an annular oil seal (10) that is attached on the action chamber (L) side of the rod guide (2) and that makes sliding contact with the outer circumferential surface of the rod (4); and an annular seal holder (13) that supports the oil seal (10) from the action chamber side. A holding part (2c) for holding the seal holder (13) is provided to the rod guide (2).
