Abstract
Un método y un aparato para determinar el retardo de propagación de una primera ruta y/o de una segunda ruta que conecta una primera unidad de transceptor asociada con un primer reloj con una segunda unidad de transceptor asociada con un segundo reloj en una red de comunicaciones. El aparato comprende una unidad de control configurada para provocar que la primera unidad de transceptor transmita una primera señal a la segunda unidad de transceptor sobre la primera ruta y reciba una respuesta a la primera señal de la segunda unidad de transceptor sobre la segunda ruta, y transmita una segunda señal a la segunda unidad de transceptor sobre la segunda ruta y reciba una respuesta de la segunda señal a la segunda unidad de transceptor sobre la primera ruta. El aparato comprende además una unidad de recepción configurada para recibir una primera referencia de tiempo que representa el tiempo de transmisión de la primera señal de la primera unidad de transceptor, una segunda referencia de tiempo que representa el tiempo de recepción de la primera señal en la segunda unidad de transceptor, una tercera referencia de tiempo que representa el momento de la transmisión de la respuesta de la segunda señal a la segunda unidad de transceptor y una cuarta referencia de tiempo que representa el momento de la recepción de la respuesta a la segunda señal en la primera unidad de transceptor. El aparato comprende además una unidad de determinación configurada para determinar un retardo de propagación de la primera ruta y/o de la segunda ruta con la primera referencia de tiempo, la segunda referencia de tiempo, la tercera referencia de tiempo y la cuarta referencia de tiempo.
