Abstract
Una composición colectora que comprende (a) aceite de resina refinado en donde el aceite de resina refinado es cualquier aceite de resina que se ha sometido a una o más etapas de refinamiento o procesamiento que resultan en un aumento en valor de ácido; y (b) un ácido graso en donde el aceite de resina refinado tiene un valor de ácido de al menos 90 mg KOH/g y un peso molecular promedio en peso de al menos 750 g/mol. Una suspensión mineral que comprende (a) una mena que comprende un mineral de interés; (b) una composición colectora que comprende (i) un aceite de resina refinado; y (ii) un ácido graso; y (c) un líquido. Un método para la preparación de una mena, el método comprende (a) preparar una suspensión que comprende la mena dispersa en un líquido; (b) poner en contacto la suspensión con una composición colectora que comprende un aceite de resina refinado; y (c) recuperar una mena preparada.
