Abstract

The present disclosure is related to an autonomous electrolysis device for internal combustion engines, comprising a power generation system designed to generate electric current; which at one end, is connected to the exhaust pipe of an internal combustion engine; and at its opposite end, is in communication with a heat exchange system being responsible for suddenly lowering the temperature. Likewise, the device is also connected to an electrolysis system for gas condensing. Said device has the advantage of recovering water from the combustion gases of hydrocarbons to subsequently obtain, by the electrolysis process, Hydrogen gas to inject it back in the internal combustion engine for its carburation. Offering the possibility of increasing the energetic efficiency of the combustion process, thereby, reducing fuel consumption.
