Abstract

La invención es un método implementado por computadora para definir una estructura de soporte (2) para un objeto tridimensional (1) a producirse mediante un proceso de estereolitografía, que comprende las siguientes operaciones: definir una primera superficie (3) a ser soportada del objeto tridimensional (1) y una segunda superficie (4) orientada hacia a la primera superficie (3); definir elementos de soporte alargados (5) entre las superficies (3, 4); definir pares de elementos de soporte (5); para cada par de elementos de soporte (5), definir un elemento de refuerzo alargado (6) que conecta los dos elementos de soporte (5) del par. La definición de los pares de elementos de soporte (5) comprende las siguientes operaciones: definir un punto de referencia (7) de cada elemento de soporte (5); definir un grafo acíclico conectado (8) que tiene como vértices los puntos de referencia (7); para cada arista (9) del grafo, definir un par de elementos de soporte que comprende los dos elementos de soporte (5) correspondientes a los extremos de la arista (9). La definición de los pares de los elementos de soporte (5) comprende además la operación de definir un par adicional de elementos de soporte para cada vértice que tiene orden 1 del grafo acíclico conectado (8), el par adicional comprende un primer elemento de soporte (5) correspondiente al vértice que tiene orden 1 y un segundo elemento de soporte (5) no está conectado al primer elemento de soporte (5) a través de ninguna arista (9).
