Abstract
Se proporcionan sistemas y métodos para ajustar el tiempo en una red sincronizada por medio de un dispositivo central en la red. Se proporciona a cada dispositivo en la red el tiempo actual, patrón de salto, duración de lapso de tiempo, y un número de lapso absoluto. Los dispositivos en la red se sincronizan para comunicarse en un programa de repetición de lapsos de tiempo. El dispositivo central recibe un tiempo actualizado y determina una diferencia de tiempo entre el tiempo actualizado y el tiempo actual. El tiempo actual se ajusta en múltiplos enteros de la longitud del patrón de salto hasta la diferencia de tiempo. El número de lapso absoluto se actualiza con base en el número de lapsos de tiempo en la diferencia de tiempo ajustada. El número de lapso absoluto actualizado se propaga a otros dispositivos en la red. A su vez, estos otros dispositivos pueden también propagar el número de lapso absoluto actualizado.
